Our Favorite 2014 Thanksgiving Recipe

Every year at Massey Services we like to share a special Thanksgiving Day recipe with our customers. This year the recipe is Pumpkin Pie – a staple at every Thanksgiving Day dinner table. iStock_000000307232small

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pastry shell
  • 1 (16 oz) can pumpkin
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • Whipped Topping

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 425°F.  Combine ingredients in a large bowl, pour into shell and bake 15 minutes.  Reduce oven temperature to 350°F and continue to bake 35-40 minutes until a knife inserted into center of pie comes out clean.  Cool slightly before serving.  Top with your favorite whipped topping.
