Massey Services’ Jay Hunt Honored by CFHLA

Harvey L. Massey, Chairman and CEO of Massey Services, is pleased to announce that Jay Hunt, Commercial Account Manager, was named 2014 “Allied Member of the Year” by the Central Florida Hospitality and Lodging Association (CFHLA). This award is presented to an individual who has a strong commitment to the organization and community.

Hunt demonstrates his dedication to the community through CFHLA’s Adopt-a-School program, working with Killarney Elementary. Through this program Hunt and other Massey Services team members encourage students to improve their math grades by participating in the Massey Math Miles contest. Hunt also takes part in the school’s initiative to make better readers. In addition to his work at Killarney, Hunt also partners with Dollar Tree to collect personal hygiene items that are donated to homeless students in Orange and Osceola counties.

“In the years Jay has been with the Massey organization, he has exhibited an incredible drive to support others who are less fortunate,” said Harvey L. Massey. “His willingness to lend a helping hand and assist others exemplifies one of the key tenets of our company’s Guiding Philosophy, volunteerism.
