Andrea Massey-Farrell Honored with Women Who Mean Business Award

ORLANDO, Fla. (Jan. 14, 2021) — Massey Services, the nation’s fifth-largest pest management company and the largest privately held, family-owned company in the industry, is pleased to announce that the Orlando Business Journal selected Andrea Massey-Farrell, President of the Harvey & Carol Massey Foundation and Senior Vice President of Community Relations at Massey Services, as one of their 2021 Women Who Mean Business honorees.   

The annual award recognizes Central Florida’s top female leaders for their career achievements as well as the impact they have had on the local community. This year, the Orlando Business Journal selected a total of 20 women to receive the accolade. Each received a peer or colleague nomination, which spoke to the nominee’s business acumen, work ethic, civic involvement and individual achievements.

In 2020 Massey-Farrell oversaw the distribution of more than $6 million in charitable contributions and more than $90,000 in in-kind services every year. Additionally, she has spearheaded numerous philanthropic and volunteer initiatives throughout all of Massey Services’ markets.

Massey-Farrell has donated her time to serve on the board of several organizations including Florida Nemours Hospital, Central Florida YMCA, Mead Botanical Garden, Orlando Shakes Theater and more. Additionally, she has been a proud supporter of several non-profit organizations including Autism Speaks, United Way and United Arts of Central Florida, Junior Achievement of Central Florida and the American Heart Association. She is a frequent speaker at the Edyth Bush Institute for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership and volunteers at numerous arts and educational organizations
