Massey Services, A Champion for Children

KillarneyMassey Services was recently recognized as a Champion for Children by Killarney Elementary School in appreciation of our Team Members’ dedication to Killarney students during the 2015-2016 school year.

“Massey has been an amazing partner,” Additions/P.I.E. Coordinator Jennifer Earnest said. “We look forward to working with you this upcoming school year.”

Massey has been working with the students at Killarney for many years through the Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association’s (CFHLA) Adopt-a-School program. Through this program, team members volunteer their time to mentor students and help them with their reading. In addition, Massey sponsors reading and math contests for third, fourth and fifth grade students and partners with Dollar Tree to collect personal hygiene items that are donated to disadvantaged students. Massey also sponsors a Teacher of the Month recognition program at Killarney through a partnership with the Talk of the Town Restaurants. During the past year, Massey sponsored Killarney’s participation in the Annual Winter Park “Ye Olde Hometown” Christmas Parade.

Senior Account Manager Jay Hunt has been a major force in Massey’s involvement with this initiative and was recognized for his work on behalf of Killarney when he was named “Allied Member of the Year” by the Central Florida Hospitality and Lodging Association (CFHLA) in 2014.

Thank you to Jay and to all our Team Members who support this worthwhile endeavor.

At Massey, our people make the difference.
