Two and a half years
Meet Sonya Santiago
Thin Mints Girl Scout cookies have to be my favorite!
Best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
“Those who do not know, should not do”
What movie are you ashamed to admit you love?
Moulin Rouge! I could watch it over and over!
Three words that best describe you?
Intelligent, motivated, compassionate
Tell us a little about your job:
My job consists of meeting with different people everyday, and helping them with various needs; such as quotes for Landscape, Pest and Termite Services, and Irrigation inspections.
What does your average day look like?
My day starts around 7:30 A.M. in the office. I get some time to do morning training with my co-workers and check in with my General Manager, and then I am on my way out into the field. I average about five to six appointments a day, and drive a lot! Some of the people I meet are very cool and it helps make the day interesting. I keep pretty active between walking lawns anywhere from 3,000 to 20,000 square feet, to crawling under houses and in attics. It never gets boring!
What motivates you to wake up and go to work?
I am a single mother of two beautiful growing teenagers. I know soon they will be off to college and doing their own thing but until then, I need them to understand how important it is to get into a career they love, work hard and do the best they can. I want to lead by example.
Thank You Sonya Santiago!
Massey Services thanks Sonya for her hard work and compassionate attitude. She cares deeply about her Customers, as well as her family and fellow co-workers. She truly deserves to be recognized in this month’s Team Member Spotlight.
