Massey Acquires Precise Pest Control

Massey Services proudly announces the purchase of Precise Pest Control of Raleigh, NC.

The joining of the two companies expands Massey Services presence into the Raleigh, North Carolina market. Headquartered in Orlando, Florida, Massey Services provides service to over 500,000 customers throughout Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, South Carolina, North Carolina and Oklahoma.

Harvey L. Massey, an industry leader and 53-year veteran of the pest management and landscape services industries, founded Massey Services in 1985. Massey Services is the fifth largest pest management company in the industry. In addition, Massey Services is the largest, privately-owned family company in the industry.

 

What does the acquisition mean to me?

There will be no change or interruption to your service, and your guarantees and agreements will remain intact. 

 

Who is going to be providing my service, Massey Services or Precise Pest Control?

Massey Services. While we complete the transition, you may also see a Precise vehicle or a Team Member in a Precise uniform providing your inspection.

 

What’s different about Massey Services compared to Precise Pest Control?

The differences between Massey Services and Precise Pest Control are subtle:

• Massey and Precise are both privately owned companies.
• Massey Services has been providing service for over 80 years, since 1930 (Walker Chemical Company was purchased by Harvey L. Massey in 1985).
• Even though our companies have some differences, both companies have always believed in Total Customer Satisfaction, environmental responsibility and being the best service companies in our industry.

 

I was given an estimate for service by Precise Pest Control, is that estimate still good?

The estimate that was provided to you is valid until the expiration date noted on the proposal or from 30 days from the date of the proposal.  If that date has passed, we would like to schedule a time to have a Massey Services Inspector meet with you to review the proposal and provide you with updated options.

 

Where do I pay my Precise Pest Control bill now?

Until further notice, please continue to pay your bill how you have always paid it. In the coming months we will be transitioning your account to Massey Services. At that time, you will receive notification and explicit directions regarding how to pay your bill.

 

What happens if I paid for my Precise Pest Control service in advance?

Nothing changes.  Your service will continue to be provided uninterrupted and your agreement will remain intact.  Upon the anniversary date of your agreement, you will be given the option to pay for your service in advance again and receive a 5% discount.
