Tom "TJ" Jarzynka - Vice President of Technical and Training Massey Services Inc

Tom Jarzynka has served in the pest management industry for 41 years and at Massey Services since 2000. As Vice President of Technical and Training for Massey, Tom oversees the entire Pest and Termite Technical & Training team, which includes Field Training Managers, Quality Assurance Managers and Technical Directors.  He also manages program development and implementation, initial and ongoing training for pest and termite technicians and managers, as well as supervising major customer accounts for the Commercial Division. 

Tom is an Associate Certified Entomologist and a certified operator in Florida. He began his career at Massey Services as a Commercial Sales Director and has held General Manager, Division Manager and Senior Technical Director positions within the organization. 

Tom attended Tarrant County Junior College in Hurst, Texas and Seminole County Junior College in Longwood, Florida. He has completed the American Institute of Baking Food Processing & Hygiene course and a Purdue University Technical Skills course. In February 2009, Tom attained the esteemed Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) certification through the American Entomological Society. 

Tom has earned the reputation as one of the top experts in the pest management industry, especially in the field of bed bugs. He was the key driver in developing the now-patented Massey Services heat remediation bed bug elimination program.  He frequently participates in speaking engagements and offers his expertise to the media and other business professionals. He has also been the featured speaker at many industry and general consumer speaking engagements.

He serves on the Quality Pro Board of Directors for the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) along with their Commercial Committee and P3 Steering Committee, which proactively reviews current and future trends to determine how NPMA can respond to the pest industry’s emerging needs. Tom is also a member of the Entomological Society of America.  He previously served as the Past Region 16 Director for the Florida Pest Management Association. 

In 2019, he was recognized by Pest Control Technology (PCT) Magazine with the prestigious Crown Leadership Award.  This is one of the highest awards in the pest management industry and recognizes individuals who have contributed to the development of the pest management industry and have established strong relationships with fellow business leaders, civic groups and customers in their local communities.
