Meet Jacob

Q: Who do you admire and why?
A:
My wife, Cassidy. She is an incredibly strong woman who has always
fully supported me and pushed me to be the best that I can be.

Q: What Jeopardy Category could you clear, no problem?
A: History and sports.

Q: Favorite Sports Team?
A: Oklahoma Sooners (Boomer!)

Q: Favorite Snack?
A: Hot Cheetos.

Q: Best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
A: “It will all be okay in the end and if it’s not okay, it’s not the end.”

Q: What is the one thing you could not live without?
A: My son, Chance. He keeps me on my toes every day and is a constant reminder to always set a good example.

Q: What TV Show/Movie are you ashamed to admit that you love?
A: Anything from Nicholas Sparks. I love them all.

Q: What is your hidden talent?
A: It’s not much a secret, but I’m pretty good at playing the drums. I’ve played for over 10 years.

Q: Three words that best describe you?
A: Enthusiastic, dedicated and comical.

The Career

Q: Tell us a little about your job?
A:
As a pest technician, I get to meet a lot of great people. I’ve been given the opportunity to assess each customer’s pest issues. I’m able to use my knowledge and professionalism every day to devise a treatment that will solve their problems. 

Q: What does your average day look like?
A:
My average day is very fast paced. I like getting things done and done right. I have close relationships with my customers so it’s always nice to catch up with them and see how things are going. 

Q: How has working in this industry changed the way you look at the world?
A:
This industry has taught me to keep working hard every day. There are a lot of career opportunities with Massey and I want to advance with the company.

Q: Who do you look to for inspiration?
A:
I look up to all my managers and executives in the company for inspiration. I see the positions they are in and it gives me motivation to succeed at Massey Services.

Q: What motivates you to wake up and go to work?
A:
My family. I love my career and go to work every day knowing that I am providing the best possible life for them.

Q: What do you believe makes your career at Massey Services truly unique?
A: The bond we all have. Everyone in my office is close with one another and the atmosphere is great. Not many places look out for each other like we do!
