Bed Bugs

Bed Bug - Massey Services

(1/8” – 3/16”) Adult bed bugs are reddish brown, flattened, oval and wingless, with a banded appearance. In the daytime, they tend to stay out of the light, preferring to remain hidden in such places as mattress seams, bed frames, nearby furniture, carpeting, baseboards, or bedroom clutter. They feed mainly at night and are able to live several months without a meal. These pesky insects feed mainly on human blood but will seek a blood meal for animals as well. They spread through travel, as they hitchhike with luggage, clothing, bedding and furniture. Signs of a bed bug infestation include rusty spots or bloodstains on bed linens, mattresses and headboards.
