Adam Jones

A 42-year veteran of the business, Adam began his career at ChemLawn as a specialist and spent 4½ years in operations management before joining Massey Services’ GreenUP Division as a General Manager in 1991.

In 1995, Adam was promoted to the Technical Director for the GreenUP Division and then to the Director of Quality Assurance for all of Massey Services’ businesses. In 1999, Adam was promoted to run the GreenUP Division and subsequently was tapped to be the Vice President, Director of Quality Assurance.

Jones is professionally certified in Lawn and Ornamental, General Household Pest (GHP), Fumigation, Termite Control and Irrigation. He also has certifications as a Turfgrass Professional by the University of Georgia, Center for Continuing Education, and the National Association of Lawncare Professionals (NALP). He is also a Florida licensed irrigation contractor, a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor (CLIA), and a Certified Irrigation Contractor by the National Irrigation Association (NIA).

Widely known as a leader in the industry, Adam Jones was named a “40 Under 40” Award Honoree by PCT Magazine in 2003, was a PCT Magazine Crown Leadership Award recipient in TBD, received the Lawn & Landscape Magazine Leadership Award in 2001. In 2023, he was presented with the Wreath of Grass Award by the Florida Turfgrass Association (FTGA), which is the FTGA’s highest honor and pays tribute to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding service and both personal and professional dedication to Florida’s turfgrass industry.

Adam has been featured on numerous media outlets, including newspapers, magazine articles and TV news segments, based on his expertise in the pest management and landscape services industry. His in-depth understanding of the industry is also demonstrated through requests for national speaking engagements.

Jones currently serves on the Environmental Research and Education Foundation Board of Directors and is a past President of the Florida Pest Management Association (FPMA). He is frequently asked to speak for the FPMA, The Florida Turfgrass Association, The National Pest Management Association and at other industry trade and professional gatherings. He remains a highly requested speaker for local garden clubs and home and garden shows throughout Florida.

Adam has completed the OPM Key Executives Program at Harvard’s Graduate School of Business Administration. He is active in Junior Achievement and other local community projects.
