Michael Swanson began his career in the pest and lawn care industry in 1987 with Middleton Lawn and Pest Control Company, which was later acquired by Massey Services in 2009. Following the acquisition, he continued his successful career as a Regional Manager. Throughout his tenure with Massey Services, Michael has played a pivotal role in expanding and developing regions across Florida’s East Coast, North Central Florida, and most recently, The Villages. In 2010, Mike was appointed Regional Manager of the North Florida Region. In 2014 he transitioned to Central Florida as Regional Manager of the North Central Region and then in 2023 was appointed to lead The Villages region.
In 2025, Mike was promoted to Regional Vice President, overseeing operations and leading management teams in Greater Houston, South Central Texas, North Texas, Oklahoma, and The Villages.
He attended DePaul University in Chicago. Michael serves as Executive Vice President on the Board of Directors for the Lagoon Towers Condominium Association. Deeply committed to philanthropy, he supports several charitable organizations, including the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, the Stephen Siller Foundation, the American Heart Association (Orlando Chapter), St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Children International.
Outside of his professional life, Michael enjoys spending time on his small horse farm, traveling with his wife, and cherishing moments with his four children and five grandchildren.
