Jeff Buhler
Jeff Buhler joined Massey Services in 2009 as Executive Vice President for the GreenUP Landscape Division. In 2011, Jeff was promoted to his current role of Senior Vice President of Customer Service. In this role, Jeff’s responsibilities include Quality Assurance, Risk Management, Government Affairs, Information Technology, Business Intelligence, Business Analysis, Learning & Development, Recruiting and Administrative Training.
Jeff has an extensive background in a variety of consumer service, operations and coaching industries. He began his career coaching college basketball and fundraising for non-profit organizations. Jeff served in multiple operations roles including Capital Projects Manager and Director of Engineering at Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center. Jeff was the Vice President of Operations at Middleton Lawn & Pest Control, which merged with Massey Services in 2009.
Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and earned an MBA degree from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College.
Jeff participates in both industry and community organizations and currently serves as Chair of the Advisory Board of the University of Florida Department of Religion. He is also Chairman and Founding Director of the Ridgecrest Foundation, which supports Camp Ridgecrest for Boys, Camp Crestridge for Girls and the Ridgecrest Conference Center. In addition, Jeff serves on the Orlando Economic Partnership Executive Committee and is a Board Member of The Pabst Steinmetz Foundation, Opera Orlando, Florida Citrus Sports, and Victory Cup Initiative.
Jeff is a Past President of the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP), Past President of the Orlando Science Center Board of Directors and Past President of Pi Lambda Phi International Fraternity. In addition, Jeff is a Founding Director of the Elimination of Prejudice Foundation and previously served on the board of the Winter Park YMCA, Camp Ridgecrest Alumni & Friends, North Texas Hotel & Lodging Association, Teach for America Orlando, and the Pi Lambda Phi Educational Foundation.
In 2024, Jeff was honored to receive the 2024 Lifetime Leadership Award by the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP). The Lifetime Leadership Award is one of NALP’s highest honors, recognizing individuals who demonstrate outstanding leadership, dedicated service, and a deep commitment to the lawn care industry and NALP itself. The award celebrates those who have made lasting contributions to the profession, while embodying the spirit of innovation, advocacy, and inspiration within the landscape community. He is also the recipient of the Edward Goldman Alumnus Achievement Award for Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity.
Jeff is an ordained Elder in the Presbyterian Church and has experience with non-profit strategic planning and fundraising campaigns. Jeff regularly lectures at colleges on operations management and leadership development.
