February Team Member Spotlight: Lonnie Middleton
For Lonnie Middleton, General Manager of Massey Services’ Dallas service center, each workday is a carefully balanced routine of leadership, logistics, and customer service. With five years under his belt at Massey, Lonnie has developed a keen understanding of what it takes to keep operations running smoothly.

A Typical Day at Work for Lonnie
By 7:00 a.m., he is already checking in with his Service Manager and Office Manager to ensure everything is in order. Whether it’s reviewing background checks with HR or making sure leads are properly assigned, Lonnie’s meticulous approach to management is evident.
Why Did Lonnie Choose Massey Services?
His journey with Massey Services began when he was recruited by Greg Kopplow, who presented a business model that aligned seamlessly with Lonnie’s 30 years of management experience. The combination of structure and growth opportunities within the company convinced him that Massey was the right fit for his career.
The Best Part of the Job
“The best part about working for Massey Services,” Lonnie says, “is having the big company benefits while keeping the feel of a small, family-owned business that truly cares about the individual person.” This balance of corporate stability and personal connection has made his experience at Massey uniquely fulfilling.
Skills Gained and Personal Growth
Despite not having a background in pest prevention, Lonnie has embraced the industry wholeheartedly, earning both a Pest Certified Applicator license and a Termite Certified Applicator license. Beyond technical expertise, he has also honed his people skills, learning to navigate different personalities among both employees and customers.
A Career Unlike Any Other
One of the standout aspects of his role is the innovative mindset he brings from his previous experience in construction. Lonnie’s ability to see challenges from a construction perspective allows him to offer creative solutions. A prime example is a tool he designed for the quick and easy removal of Sentricon bait stations, which he has shared with other North Texas Service Centers to great success.
Lonnie Middleton’s story is one of adaptability, leadership, and continuous learning. As he continues to grow with Massey Services, his contributions—both in management and innovation—are making a lasting impact on his team and the company.

Thank you Lonnie, for going above and beyond for our customers and being a shining example of why it’s our people that MAKE A DIFFERENCE! Learn more about our career opportunities and how you can be a part of the Massey team!
