Best Places to Work – 2nd Year in a Row!

Thursday, September 24th, 2009

I usually don’t take the time to brag but when I received this information I was very excited to share it! For the past few years we’ve been nominated as one of the Best Places to Work in Central Florida by the Orlando Business Journal. And, for the last two years we’ve been a finalist – selected as one of the top 5 companies in our category!

And the selection process isn’t easy!  It’s based on an anonymous online survey that is sent to all team members in the greater Orlando area. The survey questions cover various aspects of our company’s culture and include topics such as manager effectiveness, trust in our senior leaders and feeling valued as a Massey team member.

So what sorts of things go on at Massey Services that make us a finalist? How about our annual awards banquet, our fundraising events that include bake sales, coffee and donut breakfasts, pizza lunches and jeans days all to raise money for several organizations we support, our free health screening and our team building exercises at our annual Manager’s meeting, just to name a few.

Best Places to Work – 2nd Year in a Row.  So there you have it, my one brag for the year.
